This is as simple as it gets! People love to talk about themselves, and if you ask a question on your social media post, you might just get a conversation started. The question could relate to your business, but it 
doesn’t have to. Social media is not the place to try and win more business. The goal is to simply generate responses -- even if only one or two words. Words turn into conversations. And conversations turn into relationships. And THAT is worth its weight in gold.

Here are a few examples of simple questions that could spark a conversation:

  • If you could interview one person in the industry who would it be?
  • When was the last time you won new business from a referral?
  • What one nice thing somebody did for you or your company today?
